Yousuke Yukimatsu, stylized as ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, is a Japanese DJ and producer born in 1979 in Osaka. Originally employed in construction, he began DJing in 2008 at a friend's party and gradually became a regular presence in Osaka and Kobe's club scenes. A pivotal moment came in 2014 when techno artist DJ Nobu invited him to perform at his Future Terror party in Tokyo after being impressed by Yukimatsu's set. In 2016, he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, which led him to leave his construction job and dedicate himself fully to music. Yukimatsu founded the Zone Unknown party series in Osaka and Kobe, hosting artists including Arca, Palmistry, and Kamixlo. He released the mix album "Midnight is Comin'" on Singapore label Midnight Shift in 2020. His international breakthrough came in early 2025 when his Boiler Room set in Tokyo became one of the platform's most-viewed videos, surpassing twelve million YouTube views within six months. Known for his genre-defying sets and distinctive topless performances, he has become one of the most talked-about figures in global electronic music.
