Jorjiana, born Jorja Alek Faith-Wilson on December 31, 2004, is an American rapper from Michigan City, Indiana, also known as Jorjiana 219 after her hometown's area code. Raised in foster care following her parents' divorce, she endured a turbulent childhood bouncing between homes and turned to music as a source of stability. Despite facing extreme hardship -- including homelessness and working three jobs around the birth of her son in October 2023 -- she persevered in building her music career. Her breakout came in late 2024 with the single "ILBB2," which went viral after she performed it on the On The Radar platform, quickly gaining traction on TikTok and other social media. The track was later remixed with GloRilla, cementing her rise. Known for her distinctive slow, laconic, and conversational delivery often placed slightly off the beat, paired with her trademark "Uh huh" ad-lib, Jorjiana has carved out a unique lane in hip-hop that spans Detroit-style glitchy production and jazz-lounge textures.
