Slift is a French psychedelic heavy rock trio from Toulouse, formed in 2015. The band — Jean Fossat, Rémi Fossat, and Canek Flores — delivers a ferocious blend of psych rock, space rock, and proto-metal with relentless energy and exploratory improvisations. Their second album Ummon (2020) earned widespread critical acclaim and won a Prix du Jury at Les Victoires du Rock. The follow-up Ilion (2023), released on Sub Pop, cemented their reputation as one of the most exciting heavy psych bands in Europe, drawing comparisons to King Gizzard and Oh Sees.
