Laufey: A Matter of Time

Laufey Lín Jónsdóttir (born April 23, 1999) is an Icelandic-Chinese singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She blends jazz, classical, and bedroom pop, describing her sound as “modern jazz.” She first gained attention as a finalist on Ísland Got Talent (2014) and a semi-finalist on The Voice Iceland (2015). After studying at Berklee College of Music, she released her debut EP Typical of Me in 2021, followed by her first full-length album Everything I Know About Love in 2022. Her second album, Bewitched (2023), won a Grammy Award and featured the hit single "From the Start." Her third album, A Matter of Time, is scheduled for release on August 22, 2025, through AWAL and Vingolf Recordings.
