King Buffalo is a psychedelic stoner rock trio from Rochester, New York, formed in 2013. The band — consisting of Sean McVay, Scott Donaldson, and Dan Reynolds — crafts expansive, riff-heavy soundscapes that blend heavy psych, desert rock, and progressive elements into immersive, slow-burning compositions. They have built a devoted following through a prolific output of critically acclaimed albums, including Orion (2017), Longing to Be the Mountain (2018), Dead Star (2020), and Regenerator (2022). Known for their hypnotic live shows, King Buffalo have toured extensively across North America and Europe.
