Giorgio Prezioso, born on February 23, 1971, is an Italian DJ and producer whose career began in 1987 at the age of 16. He rose to prominence in Italy's electronic dance music scene in the early 1990s after winning the Walky Cup DJ competition, which led to a role at the iconic "Deejay Time" radio show -- one of Italy's most popular broadcasts. He is renowned for his scratching techniques and early collaborations with artists including Italian rapper Jovanotti. In 1999, alongside his brother Andrea and vocalist Mr. Marvin, he formed the Italo dance trio Prezioso & Marvin, reaching the top 10 of European charts with multiple singles. Giorgio Prezioso has been a foundational figure in the eurodance and Italo dance movements, contributing to the genre for over three decades with energetic productions that blend house, trance, and dance-pop elements into crowd-pleasing anthems.
