DJ Seinfeld

DJ Seinfeld is the stage name of Armand Jakobsson, a Swedish electronic music producer and DJ from Malmö. Rising to prominence in 2017 with his debut album "Time Spent Away from U," he became one of the leading figures in the lo-fi house movement — a subgenre characterized by its warm, hazy textures and nostalgic, emotionally charged melodies. His music draws from deep house, breakbeat, and UK garage, filtered through a distinctly melancholic Scandinavian sensibility. His second album "Mirrors" (2021), released on Ninja Tune, marked a maturation of his sound, incorporating higher-fidelity production while retaining the emotional depth that defined his early work. Jakobsson has performed at major festivals and clubs worldwide, from Berghain to Coachella, and his DJ sets are celebrated for their eclectic range and dancefloor intuition. Beyond DJ Seinfeld, he also releases music under the alias Ransen.
